Frequently asked questions

Can I transfer my WinCome Sports account to another person?

No. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. The captain calibration model is calibrated to the original account holder, and transfers would distort both the bracket scoring and the verified winner leaderboard. The same rule applies to wallet balances and referral credits.

What happens to my unutilised wallet balance if I close my account?

Unutilised wallet balance is refundable after KYC verification and a 7-day cooling period. The cooling period is a responsible-play safeguard: it gives you time to reconsider any decision made in a moment of frustration. Refunds go back to the original deposit method.

These WinCome Sports terms are reviewed by external counsel every quarter. The plain-English summary on each section is published alongside the legal text so you do not need a lawyer to understand what you are agreeing to. If a section is unclear, write to our contact desk — they will walk you through it in 9 minutes or less.

Win Bracket Deep Dive

The plain-English summary of the WinCome Sports terms

The WinCome Sports terms are written in two formats: the legal text and the plain-English summary. The legal text is reviewed by external counsel every quarter and is the binding version. The plain-English summary is published alongside each section so that the user does not need a lawyer to understand what they are agreeing to. The terms cover 6 areas: account creation, tournament play, wallet and withdrawals, responsible play, intellectual property, and dispute resolution. Each area has a legal section and a plain-English summary. The plain-English summary is shorter and uses everyday language; the legal section is longer and uses formal legal terminology. Account creation terms cover the eligibility (18+, Indian resident, KYC verified), the account security (2FA, password requirements, trusted device list), and the account transferability (no transfers allowed). The plain-English summary explains these in 3-4 sentences per topic. Tournament play terms cover the scoring matrix, the captain-pick calibration, the win bracket ladder, and the payout structure. The plain-English summary explains the format in 5-6 sentences. The terms also cover what happens if a tournament is cancelled (refund), postponed (entry carries over), or shortened (pro-rata payout).

How disputes and complaints are handled on WinCome Sports

WinCome Sports has a 30-day standard response time on formal disputes. A formal dispute is a written notice sent to the contact desk that includes the player's account ID, the tournament ID, the disputed transaction ID, and a clear description of the issue. The dispute is assigned to a member of the customer care team and tracked in the dispute management system. The dispute resolution process has 3 stages. Stage 1 is the initial review, where the customer care agent reviews the dispute and the supporting evidence. Stage 2 is the investigation, where the agent pulls the scoring engine logs, the captain calibration data, and the wallet history for the disputed transaction. Stage 3 is the resolution, where the agent contacts the player with a decision and any adjustment to the wallet balance. Most disputes are resolved at Stage 1 inside 24 hours. The Stage 1 cases that need more investigation move to Stage 2, which takes 3-7 days. The Stage 2 cases that need escalation move to Stage 3, which takes 14-30 days. The 30-day window is the maximum; most Stage 3 cases are resolved in 14-21 days. If a player is not satisfied with the Stage 3 resolution, they can escalate the dispute to the FIFS (Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports) dispute resolution panel. The panel is an independent body that reviews disputes between players and fantasy platforms. The panel's decision is binding on the platform. The escalation is free for the player; WinCome Sports pays the panel's review fee.

The plain-English summary explains these in 3-4 sentences per topic. Section 2 is tournament play. The wallet and withdrawals section covers the deposit methods, the withdrawal methods, the wallet security, the KYC step, the calibration requirement, and the dispute resolution. The plain-English summary explains these in 5-6 sentences per topic. Section 4 is responsible play. The responsible play section covers the 6 safeguards (deposit cap, session timeout, self-exclusion, cool-off, reality check, anomaly detection), the responsible-play team, and the self-exclusion process. The plain-English summary explains the 6 safeguards in 4-5 sentences. Section 5 is intellectual property. The intellectual property section covers the platform's IP (the scoring engine, the captain calibration model, the win bracket ladder, the platform design), the user's IP (the user's content, the user's feedback), and the license grants. The plain-English summary explains the IP in 3-4 sentences. Section 6 is dispute resolution. The dispute resolution section covers the contact desk, the escalation process, the FIFS escalation, and the legal jurisdiction. The plain-English summary explains the dispute resolution in 4-5 sentences.

The 6 sections are published in full on the terms page. The page has 6 tabs: Account Creation, Tournament Play, Wallet and Withdrawals, Responsible Play, Intellectual Property, and Dispute Resolution. The user can switch between the tabs to see each section. The page also has a search field that allows the user to search the terms by keyword. The 6 sections are also published in the legal pack. The legal pack is a single PDF that includes the terms, the privacy policy, the responsible-play policy, and the disclosure policy. The legal pack is available at /legal/pack.pdf. The legal pack is updated every quarter after the external counsel review. The 6 sections are reviewed by external counsel every quarter. The 2026 Q1 review was conducted by Khaitan & Co., Bengaluru. The review found 2 minor issues, both of which were addressed in the 2026 Q1 update. The 2026 Q2 review is scheduled for July 2026; the review will be conducted by Khaitan & Co. again. The 6 sections are also the basis of the dispute resolution process. When a dispute arises, the dispute resolution team references the relevant section of the terms to make a decision. The decision is based on the published terms, not on any ad-hoc rule. The dispute resolution process helps be fair, transparent, and consistent with the published terms.
